- GlacialTech Coolers Roundup

The guys from Digit-Daily have gathered up a bunch of new "Igloo Series" SocketA coolers by GlacialTech which covers 5 budget-level solutions and 4 high-end ones.

GlacialTech is well known and popular on our market. The company managed to solve the problem that faces all manufacturers of cooling equipment: thermal effectiveness is well combined with a low noise level and moderate prices.

Such a considerable achievement wasn't unnoticed - the work done by GlacialTech yielded ample harvest. Just look at the Igloo 2310 which combines interesting functions earlier unachievable for budget coolers. The Igloo Silent Breeze impressed us with its record-breaking noise level. The Igloo 2500 Pro that managed to successfully stand against the powerful Thermaltake Volcano 7+ keeps on bringing excellent scores.

- ASUS P4P800S-E i848P Mainboard "Wireless Edition"

The folks at OCWorkbench have checked out ASUS's P4P800S-E motherboard based on the i848P chipset. The interesting thing to note about this particular package is that it comes with Wi-Fi Software Access Point capability. Overclocking results seem to be quite impressive too.

This new board supports the newer series of Pentium 4 with HT and even future generation Prescott. It comes with AGP 8X, 10/100 MBps LAN, HT support, Serial ATA, S/PDIF, 6 channel audio, 8 USB 2.0 ports.

An additional feature on this board is the Wi-Fi card that comes with the package. You can use this card to login to an access point. The most interesting thing about it is that it can be turned into a software access point ! That is to say, it could be your base station.
