- Custom Made HTPC Case

A german fellow by the name of "Atoxx" was kind enough to hand over several images of his kickarse custom made HTPC case over at HTPCNews. The result looks terrific, and what's even more amazing is that he started building this thing 100% from scratch using a bunch of old out of date hardware.

This HTPC was sent into us with just two simple photo's of it taken. I requested that Atoxx (from germany) go ahead and send us in some more photo's so we could feature this HTPC as our HTPC of the day. Do keep in mind that this case was made 100% from scratch and shows what can be done with some older hardware to create an HTPC that can perform just fine under most conditions. With a setup like this, a Hauppauge PVR-250 or any other hardware based capture cards could do a great job in turning this into an awesome Tivo-like set top box.
