- Harmony SST-659 Remote Control

The art of juggling a bunch of remote controls for all the devices in your room / lounge area is never one that you like getting used to. As a matter of fact, it's usually nothing more then a downright pain in zee ass. Brian over at Ecoustics has shown us something many of you will no doubt find extremely useful. It's an "Internet Powered" universal remote by Harmony, whom have been designing high-end remotes for some time now. The new SST-659 looks to be flawless, with the only scare being the pricey tag. Well worth every penny in my books.

The Harmony SST-659 definitely lives up to its reputation as a remote that's easy enough for the whole family. The SST-659 is ergonomic, straightforward to configure and the least complicated remote I have used at any price. Harmony, once again, sets a new standard for universal remote controls. It's simple enough for the techno-challenged, versatile for everyday use and still capable of meeting the needs of a power user.

- Big Rad, Big Cooling!

Watercooling crazed Titch over at the Modfathers has thought of a way to allow all three of his self-contained watercooled rigs to share a single massive radiator (plucked from a car wreckers) that's placed outside of the house, followed by an assortment of pipes and valves linked to each of the systems inside. Extreme? I think it's a brilliant accomplishment!

If you have more than one watercooled system then this really is an option worth considering. If we move it can all be unbolted and moved with us, something not possible with bombs. It is discreet, quiet and works phenomenally well.
