NVIDIA rumored to pump 10GB of GDDR5 RAM into the GeForce GTX 790, would feature 640-bit memory bus, and much more (NASDAQ:NVDA)

CES 2014 - We're hours away from CES 2014 now and we have a massive tease from NVIDIA, who is rumored to unleash a new GeForce GTX 790 GPU. Yes, a GTX 790, not the GTX 780 Ti, or TITAN, but a new, super-fast GPU.

The GeForce GTX 790 would feature an insane 10GB of GDDR5 RAM (5GB GDDR5 x2), 4992 CUDA cores (2496 x2), 640-bit memory (dual 320-bit), and two GK110 cores. If NVIDIA were to release this GPU, we could expect the high-end to really light up, blowing away all of the things AMD has tried to build up with its new Hawaii-based R9 290X GPU.
