- Hitachi Deskstar 7K250 SATA Hard Drive Review

Roger over at Furioustech has just put Hitachi's largest S-ATA hard drive through it's paces to see how well it performs using a few benchmarking tools, it recieves Furioustech's "Kickarse Product Award" for producing some very nice results, with the only downside being price. However, at 250gb a piece? say no more.

So you are a speed demon and you feel the need for it. Toady we are going to discuss SATA hard drives. I would like to thank Beth Ellerman at Hitachi for sending me a sample of their SATA Deskstar 7K250. Yes computer enthusiasts that is 250 gigs of space, cavernous in fact, two of these drives in a raid configuration would be 500 gigs, almost makes you giddy thinking about all that room. Away we go!
