- DFI LANParty 865PE Motherboard

 

The folks over at 3DVelocity let us take a look at DFI's feature-rich intel board utilizing the 865PE chipset. One thing's for certain, they sure know how to make their products look good.

 

 

With the introduction of Dual Channel, Intel brought out two chipsets, the i865 and the i875. The i865 has support for lower FSB (400) CPUs which includes the early Northwood, Celeron and Willamette members. DFI have launched their new LANParty series, and the i865 is chipset included in the family. A new series, aimed at the LAN gamers of this world who also like to show off their systems - but is it all show and no performance? Let us show you!

 


- Epox 8HDA3+ K8T800 Athlon64 Motherboard

 

Here's another addition to the slowly but surely growing area of Athlon64 boards entering the market at the moment. This time around, PCStats have decided to do a full review on Epox's latest variant of the socket754 range.

 

With the fresh taste of enthusiast friendly motherboards in our minds, you can imagine that expectations are quite high for the brand new Epox 8HDA3+, a VIA K8T800 and VT8237 based motherboard. The AMD Athlon64 processor was released in two pin configurations, the first socket 754 and second socket 940.
