With uncertainty floating around in the air about an actual launch date for Samsung's first Tizen-based smartphones, some new benchmarks have surfaced that are said to be from the first two devices. Someone has managed to get their hands on both phones and run the Browsermark benchmarking utility from Rightware, and the results are interesting to say the least.
Browsermark 2.0 test your device for real-world performanced based on how well it handles resource intensive protocols inside a web browser. In the results listed on the utility's top score list, the Tizen-based GT-I8800 managed to score 2828.29 points which is slightly lower than Samsung's own Galaxy S4 which scored 2834.70 points. Additionally, the GT-I8805 scored 2499.92 points which is about on par with the Galaxy S3 and higher than LG's new G2 and the original iPhone 5 from Apple.
