Google is expected to launch its new flagship smartphone, the Nexus 5, in the US late next week, right on time for Halloween. The Android 4.4-powered smartphone will launch on October 31, following a Canadian launch a week later.
MobileSyrup is behind the rumor, with a source telling them to expect it for Halloween. The Nexus 5 should be the next big thing in Google-powered smartphones, featuring a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 2GB or RAM, a 4.95-inch 1080p display, 4G LTE support, NFC and Wi-Fi 802.11ac support.
Flipping it on its rear we should have an 8-megapixel camera of some sort, as well as a 2300mAh battery. The pricing is where Google will kill it, with a price tag of just $349, Apple and Samsung have no way of matching it.
