PlayStation 4 will be a personal experience, real names are OK

Sony will allow you to use your real name on the PS4 at launch, aliases are still good, too (NYSE:SNE)

The PlayStation 4 launches within the next month, with Sony now confirming that you can use an alias on your console, or your real name, it's all up to you.

It's a social decision by the looks of things, pushing the PSN toward a more social experience if you're using your real name. Using your real name on the PlayStation Network is a bold move, but something that I think Sony has the right idea about. No more hiding behind an alias, although my game handle is just my first name followed by some numbers.
