AT&T to begin offering iPad Air beginning Friday, November 1st

AT&T will begin selling the new iPad Air on Friday, November 1st, will be included in Mobile Share packages (NYSE:T)

Today AT&T announced that it will begin offering Apple's newly released iPad Air on Friday, November 1st. The AT&T version will feature Wi-Fi and 4G LTE and the company says that qualified customers can purchase the iPad Air with no money down on a two-year contract.

"Each year, more of our customers want an iPad to connect to our mobile internet," said Ralph de la Vega, president & CEO, AT&T Mobility. "We offer the nation's fastest and most reliable 4G LTE network, and are giving our customers the most flexible plans to connect to that network." AT&T says that it will be offering data plans for the new iPad Air based on its Mobile Share packages which allows customers to add a tablet to their existing mobile plan at $10 per month per tablet. Pay-per-use plans are also available which include $5 for a 250MB day pass, up to a $50 5GB monthly pass.
