- nVidia System Utility

 

Today nVidia has released their long awaited System Utility program which allows you to adjust overclocking and voltages options in Windows on-the-fly through a pleasant GUI. Get amongst the action, here.

 

VIDIA® System Utility is the ultimate utility for accessing, monitoring, and adjusting your system components, including temperature and voltages with clear, user-friendly control panels. Overclock your system for highest performance or underclock it for near silent operation. All changes are performed within the Microsoft® Windows® interface - enabling full functionality without the need to make changes in the BIOS and reboot your system.

 


- Britney kills your computer

 

There's yet another new virus floating around, this time in the form of a link to a Britney Spears image which wrecks havoc on your system. Suffice to say, just don't open it, alright? Warp2Search have the full story.

 

The worm is disguised as a .jpg picture named Britney.jpg from Angelfire. Whatever you do do not open britney links in Internet explorer.
An exploit taking advantage of holes in Internet Explorer along with Windows Media Player ensures the worm free passage to your computer, where it starts deleting system files and destroying the registry.

 


- Longhorn leaks

 

Long before Microsoft's upcoming OS is due to be released, it has leaked onto the Internet. The folks over at Neowin have a bunch of screenshots of the new OS.

 

 

The moment nearly every Windows enthusiast has been waiting for has all but nearly arrived. Windows Code-Named Longhorn 4051 has leaked onto the internet. As Paul Thurrott correctly confirmed late last evening. The select few who have been able to get hold of the build are currently working to install it. No doubt we'll see it half way round the internet within 12 hours or so.
