An Angry Birds theme park has just opened up in China, which has been in planning stages since 2011. It did initially see a soft launch back in September 2012, and then again with an official celebratory "opening" day on October 1, which is China's National Day.
What makes this special is that this is the first official, licensed Angry Birds theme park. There was an unlicensed facility that opened up in Changsha in China's Hunan province, but this one is the real deal. The Angry Birds theme park features 10,000 square meters of fun, including dozens of attractions that are focused around the world of Angry Birds.
Visitors can check out the Angry Birds Castle, listen to music in the music stadium or jump around in a fully dedicated parkour activity park! Official Angry Birds merchanise will be on-hand, as well as official Angry Birds games on various gaming stations set up throughout the park.
