Apple's iOS platform gained that missing percent, driving up from 39.2% to 40.7% this quarter. Moving onto manufacturers, as you may have guessed Samsung is still on top with 24.3% of the US market, which is up 1.3% since May. The closest competitor to Samsung is HTC, with 7.4%, which dropped 1% moving from the May quarter to the August quarter.
