Buffalo Technology has just launched a new line of external harddrives

Buffalo has just announced the launch of a new line of external hard drives featuring capacities up to 4TB. The new HD-LCU3 series of external hard drives are featured in white (up to 3TB) and black (up to 4TB) and weight about 2lbs each. Each HDD features an active cooling system, and anti-vibration technology, to help keep things cool and quiet.

The HD LCU3 series also features TurboPC EX2 software that can be enabled to automatically compress data to enable more data to be stored on the drive. The series will be offered in 1TB, 2TB, 3TB, and 4TB capacities and will retail for $134, $169, $225, and $397 respectively.
