T-Mobile drops BlackBerry as the company cancels investor call

T-Mobile stops stocking BlackBerry handsets, and BlackBerry has canceled its quarterly investor earnings call, will announce earnings via PR (NYSE:TMUS, NASDAQ:BBRY)

With the downward spiral of BlackBerry continuing to quicken, T-Mobile has made the decision to stop stocking its handsets. This marks the first of what will be a growing list of carriers around the world to drop the failing company's products. T-Mobile says that it chose to drop the devices due to weak demand.

This announcement came amidst more bad news from BlackBerry itself, which announced this morning that it would be canceling its scheduled earning call to investors on September 27. BlackBerry says that it will release its earnings report, but will not host a call to discuss matters with investors. This is undoubtedly due to the company announcing its intent to sell to Fairfax Financial earlier this week.
