Daily News Round #1
- Where is my shadow?
Kris showed us a screenshot he took from AquaMark 3 which shows that shadows in a certain scene do not exist with nVidia Detonator 45.23 drivers. Are nVidia up to their nasty tricks again? Hopefully not.
"No noticeable difference in quality on 45.23" ?
... not exactly ...
... Where is my shadow !? ... :-)
- DFI CMOS Reloaded
During Computex next week in Taiwan, DFI let us know that they will demonstrate their new CMOS Reloaded technology which allows you to save certain overclock settings in the BIOS and enable them later on without the fuss of having to go through your BIOS and setup again.
I have updated the press release concerning this announcement to our servers which you can download. Please right click on this link and "Save Target As".
Changing the way enthusiasts "tweak", CMOS Reloaded removes the need to manually record settings on paper and reset configurations during the trial and error process. Unlike conventional motherboards that allow for only one set of CMOS configuration, DFI's new technology offers up to 4 sets per computer. Depending on the application used and the processing power needed, users can choose between configurations to maximize resources and take full advantage of what PCs have to offer.
