- HL2 Performance Revealed

Anand from AnandTech has posted some teaser information regarding Half Life 2 and performance on ATI and nVidia based graphics cards. In short Valve had to optimise their code for nVidia cards to improve performance while they did not have to for ATI cards. The following quote from the story should make things pretty clear:

- the Radeon 9600 Pro performs very well - it is a good competitor of the 5900 ultra

- Aquamark 3 Screenshots

Matt over at 3DGPU received his preview copy of Aquamark 3 and posted many screenshots of the upcoming benchmark in their forums.

I got my preview copy of Aquamark 3, the benchmark program from Massive.de, and needless to say it's very sweet looking. I thought I'd post some screenshots for your viewing pleasure. These shots were taken with a Radeon 9800 Pro (6x FSAA & 16x anisotropic filtering) using the CAT 3.7's. I'll be installing the FX 5600 tonight and trying out the new Det 50's that was sent to me today.

- Call Of Duty @ TweakTown Gamer

Joshua Blackman over at TweakTown Gamer has posted a preview of Call Of Duty. I played this game a little last week when the demo was released and I got to say I am impressed with it.

What? Yet another World War II infantry game? Yes, that's right, but Activision's Call Of Duty promises more than just the same old same old. Join Joshua Blackman as he takes us through the demo of this highly-anticipated release.
