LeakedTT: Xbox One Dashboard footage spotted in the wild

Xbox One Dashboard spotted in newly leaked footage, shows off a very Windows 8 like appearance (NASDAQ:MSFT)

| Gaming Consoles News | Posted: Sep 10, 2013 1:15 am

Earlier today, leaked footage of the upcoming Xbox One's Dashboard surfaced. This is a first look that we've had of the console's finalized UI since it was announced months ago. In the video below, you'll see a very Windows 8-esque interface with Live Tiles everywhere. This makes sense since the system runs a modified version of Windows 8.

While we've seen all of this before, seeing it on an actual console away from the confines of a scripted Microsoft event shows us how well it truly operates. Everything appears to flow smoothly and I have to be honest, the user interface looks much nicer than I ever expected. Additionally, the video shows off a very brief demo of RYSE: Son of Rome. Microsoft will launch the Xbox One on November 22, and it will retail for $499.
