We take a look at ASUS' gorgeous Transformer Pad TF701T at IFA 2013

IFA 2013 - One of the hottest devices unveiled at IFA 2013 would have to be ASUS' Transformer Pad TF701T. This 10.1-inch slate stands out from the crowd with its incredible 10.1-inch 2560x1600-pixel WQXGA panel, but it's also no slouch when it comes to its internal components.

We have NVIDIA's high-performance Tegra 4 SoC, which is a quad-core ARM Cortex-A15 CPU, backed up by a 72-core GeForce GPU. This means you can play some seriously high-end games on a tablet, that also has some astounding battery life. We have 13 hours of battery life for the slate itself, but when it's docked on its keyboard dock, we have a total of 17 hours battery life.

This is great, as it can allow a TF701T owner to use the tablet as a netbook/notebook, with more battery life than a similar priced notebook. Better yet, the TF701T can also drive a 4K display from its HDMI connection, which is just amazing. All of this gets crammed into a device that is just 8.9mm thick and weighs just 585g.
