It's that time again: in just a few days from now, Apple will launch its next-generation smartphones, the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, and as with all iPhone launches, hordes of what can only be described as fanboys have started amassing at Apple stores around the country.

While this happens for many product launches, fans usually only gather a few days in advance, but with the new iPhones not expected to hit retail shelves until September 20, fans will be sitting outside of Apple stores for more than two weeks. In an interview over Skype, one of the campers told VentureBeat that "We think the new iPhone will be available on the 20th...that's our speculation, since it's usually out on the Friday after the introduction. So we think we'll be out here for about two weeks."
