Google updates Drive app for iOS, features new card style layout

Google Drive for iOS gets completely refreshed in new update, now features Google's card style layout (NASDAQ:GOOG, NASDAQ:AAPL)

Google has recently updated its Drive for iOS app by completely refreshing the user interface to more closely align with the company's de facto card-style layout. The new look showcases thumbnails that display your file contents, yet still retains the traditional app layout that can be toggled with the push of a button based on the user's preferences.

Additionally, the app now supports the viewing and editing of files in landscape mode, and folders are now grouped in a way that makes more sense than before. The update has also made it easier to copy and share links to files, while the search feature is now located in a more prominent position to make finding files much simpler. You can download the new app from the Apple App Store for free by heading over to the App Store source listed below.
