Google updates Drive app for iOS, features new card style layout

Google Drive for iOS gets completely refreshed in new update, now features Google's card style layout (NASDAQ:GOOG, NASDAQ:AAPL)

Google has recently updated its Drive for iOS app by completely refreshing the user interface to more closely align with the company's de facto card-style layout. The new look showcases thumbnails that display your file contents, yet still retains the traditional app layout that can be toggled with the push of a button based on the user's preferences.

Additionally, the app now supports the viewing and editing of files in landscape mode, and folders are now grouped in a way that makes more sense than before. The update has also made it easier to copy and share links to files, while the search feature is now located in a more prominent position to make finding files much simpler.
