AMD's Temash APU makes an appearance in a Toshiba convertible at IFA

Toshiba shows off new convertible tablet running AMD's Temash silicon at IFA 2013 (TYO:6502, NYSE:AMD, NASDAQ:MSFT)

Earlier this week at the IFA trade show in Berlin, Germany, Toshiba showed off a new convertible tablet that is based off AMD's upcoming Temash APU architecture. The Toshiba W30Dt features a AMD A4-1200 APU, which unfortunately, is the slowest APU in AMDs Temash lineup.

The convertible tablet features 4GB RAM, 500GB of storage, and a 13.3-inch IPS 'Pin-Sharp HD' display. The W30Dt comes with a keyboard dock which includes a full size USB 3.0 port and a secondary battery. The tablet features a microUSB port, SD card port, and HDMI connectivity. No information was given on availability or pricing, but we will update this post when it becomes available.
