Did Google show us the Nexus 5 during its Android 4.4 announcement?

Have a break... have a Nexus 5. Did Google show us its next-gen smartphone during the Android 4.4 tease? (NASDAQ:GOOG)

Something I want quite bad is the Nexus 5, but with the announcement and massive tease of Android 4.4, it might be a little ways off yet. Well, it looks like the refreshed smartphone from Google might have been teased during the KitKat announcement, as you can see below.

The guy on the left has a swish-looking smartphone, with it looking bigger than the Nexus 4 - I'm estimating ~5 inches. We can see the Nexus logo is horizontal, like the refreshed Nexus 7 tablet. The camera is much bigger, which could be a much-needed 13-megapixel (or so, again, estimating here) rear-facing camera.

For comparison, the woman on the right is holding the Nexus 4, Google's current flagship smartphone. I'm hoping we have an announcement soon, but now the question is will Google unleash the Nexus 5 with Android 4.4 KitKat, or Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie?
