Everyone's favorite leakster is at it again! This time the infamous @evleaks has posted a pair of screenshots that show off the new management app for Samsung's upcoming smartwatch, the Galaxy Gear. The images show that the smartwatch will pair to Samsung Galaxy devices via near field communication (NFC) instead of the assumed Bluetooth 4.0.
As expected the Apple also let users change the clock face, manage their Samsung apps, and even help users find their misplaced or lost watch. This system is quite similar to that on Sony smartwatch, as well as be quite successful Pebble smartwatch. Not much else is known about the Galaxy Gear, but all will be revealed in just a few days when Samsung launches the Galaxy Gear at the IFA trade show in Berlin Germany. Stay tuned to TweakTown for full coverage of IFA 2013 and the Galaxy Gear from Samsung.
