We aren't far off from having the Samsung Galaxy Note III unveiled to the world, which should happen at Samsung's press conference slated in for September 4, where we should also meet the Galaxy Gear smartwatch, too.

Now we have a photo of the Galaxy Note III's display assembly (on the right), which was posted by Japanese blog 'Ringer Blue' who shows the Note III's display sitting next to the smaller Note II. As you can see from the photo, above, the Note III is slightly larger, but it looks like it's getting rid of the ugly plastic surrounding the screen.

We should expect the Galaxy Note III to feature a 5.7-inch display, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 SoC (a 2.3GHz quad-core part), or depending on the region, Samsung's Exynos 5 Octa chipset. Filling out the specs, we should find a 13-megapixel camera, 3GB of RAM, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, a huge battery and the S Pen. I'm looking forward to the Note III, I just hope that Samsung unveil a "Google Edition" of it on the day.
