- ATI raises orders
DigiTimes is reporting that ATI will order more wafers to support the growing demand for their products.
Graphics chip designer ATI Technologies expects to increase its orders to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) to about 100,000 wafers in the third quarter, up from below 70,000 wafers in the second quarter, according to sources.
- IOGear COMBO
Hardware Pacers has posted a review on the IOGear COMBO 3.5" ION Drive (60GB).
The Ziff Davis Media's Business Disk WinMark 99 and High-End Disk WinMark 99 benchmark results showed that the GHD135C60 achieved majority of the higher scores. The external hard drive loads programs faster than the DiamondMax Plus 9, especially when connected through Firewire.
