Start menu replacement to be preloaded onto Lenovo's Windows 8 PCs

Lenovo will soon preload its Windows 8 machines with a Start menu replacement (HKG:0992)

We all know that a lot of people are not happy with the lack of a Start menu in Windows 8, but it looks like Lenovo is set to cure this on its Windows 8-based machines with a Start menu replacement.

The company will preload its Windows 8 machines with a Start menu replacement thanks to a deal Lenovo struck with San Diego-based SweetLabs and its software 'Pokki.' The deal will see the Chinese company preload Pokki onto its Windows 8 machines, which is quite the news considering Lenovo is the largest PC manufacturer... in the world.

This will help in many ways: first off, users. Users who don't know how to get, or use third-party software to access the Start menu will enjoy it preloaded. Second, it will drag SweetLabs into the spotlight.
