Like all of the other key players in the tech industry, Samsung has decided to begin holding an annual developers conference in the US. This morning, Samsung announced that it would be holding its own DevCon in San Francisco this October. The company has just launched a teaser site that allows interested parties to sign up to be notified when registration officially opens.

Samsung is billing the conference as a cross-platform, cross-product event in which the company will cover topics such as Android, TouchWiz UI, and Tizen, the up and coming alternative mobile phone OS developed by Samsung. Samsung says that DevCon will be an opportunity to engage with industry leaders and learn about new Samsung Tools and SDKs. DevCon will be held on October 27-29.
