Google is planning a press event for July 24, could talk about the next revision of Android

Google to host Android / Chrome event next week, could announce Android 4.3

| Mobile Devices, Tablets & Phones News | Posted: Jul 17, 2013 6:29 pm

One week from today on July 24, Google will be holding a press event which will be led by Android and Chrome boss Sundar Pichai. Google isn't saying what will be discussed during the event, but there is a high possibility that we will finally learn all about Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. There is also the off chance that a new version of Chrome OS will be released or an official announcement for the Motorola Moto X could be made.

More than likely we will see Android 4.3 unveiled. So far we know that it will include Bluetooth Smart technology, and that Google most likely will introduce an updated camera app that has already been spotted in the Google editions of the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4. The event starts at 9 AM Pacific time and there will be a live feed via YouTube. At the moment, I am planning to cover the event via a TweakTown live blog and I will update with more information as the event draws closer.
