TI announces world's first DDR2 PLL device supporting data rates up to 800MB/s

Texas Instruments has announced the industry's first Double Data Rate-II (DDR2) Phase Locked Loop (PLL) device for registered memory modules that support data rates up to 800MB/s. Supporting the industry's highest frequency, the high-performance, low-skew, low-jitter, zero-delay buffer gives designers wider timing margins, necessary in the design of high speed DDR Memory Modules found in applications such as PCs, servers and workstations.
