At Samsung's London press event today, the company introduced the new ATIV Tab 3 tablet. This full Windows 8 tablet is powered by an Intel Atom processor, which gives it outstanding battery life. It's also billed as the world's thinnest Windows 8 tablet, measuring in at just 8.2mm thick. For those keeping track, this is just thicker than the iPhone 5 and thinner than the iPhone 4S.

The ATIV Tab 3 features a 10.1-inch display that pumps out HD resolution of 1366x768. It features the full Windows 8 experience as it is powered by Intel's x86 compatible Atom processor, specifically the Z2760. It features 2GB of LPDDR2 and storage of 64GB eMMC. Samsung says the device is capable of up to 10 hours of battery life.
