HTC could be looking to take on Samsung in the phablet market, if rumors of a new T6 device prove to be true. Rumors suggest that HTC is working on a new device, known as the T6, that features a massive 5.9-inch 1080p display. This rumor comes courtesy @evleaks, who often leaks pictures of devices before their launch.

The device is said to share similar looks with HTC's current flagship device. But the specifications are improved from the current device. Its said to be powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM. It is said to make use of an OIS UltraPixel camera. A 3,300mAh battery keeps the device running.

The rumor also suggests that the T6 will feature a dedicated stylus and biometric fingerprint scanner on the rear. As with all rumors, take this with a grain of salt.
