Microsoft have just unveiled their Xbox One, which features a 5 billion transistors. Specs-wise, we have 8GB of RAM, 500GB HDD, USB 3.0, Wi-Fi Direct, Blu-ray, 802.11n. Impressive, PC-like specs... what else do we have?

The Xbox One architecture is key: very easy access for developers to gain access to the hardware, the kernel of Windows, and what connects these two operating systems is something only Microsoft is capable of - which changes everything - the capabilities to switch between apps, games, and media is thanks to the built-in next-gen Kinect sensor. The Kinect camera captures 1080p video, finally.
