At last year's Google I/O conference, Google unveiled the popular Nexus 7 tablet, but with rumors of this year's Google I/O conference stating we'll see a Nexus 11 tablet, we should begin to get excited.
The Nexus 11 is rumored to feature an octo-core processor, making it the world's first 8-core-powered tablet. This should arrive in the form of Samsung's 8-core Exynos 5410 processor. The 11-inch display should be a Super PLS TFT screen, with a 2560x1600 resolution just like the Nexus 10. We should expect an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera backed up by a 2-megapixel front-facer.
One of the bigger nuggets in this rumor, is the fact that the Nexus 11 would arrive with expandable storage in the form of a microSD card slot. Until now, Nexus devices have had their internal flash storage and no upgradeable storage options, which is a bit of a lack when comparing them to other Android-powered slates on the market.
