Dell stand by Microsoft's side, will stay committed to Windows RT on future ARM devices

Dell reiterate their relationship with Microsoft and Windows RT on future ARM devices

Microsoft have found themselves a strong partner in Dell, who have reiterated their commitment to Windows RT. Dell have announced that future generations of their XPS 10 tablet are under development, based around the Windows RT platform.

Dell's vice president, Neil Hand, has said: "it's turned slower than we were hoping at this point in time. Over the long haul it shouldn't matter if it is Windows on ARM, Windows on Intel, Windows on anything else". IDG News has reported that the new products will be lighter and faster, but no detailed specifications have been unveiled.
