More screenshots from Grand Theft Auto V were released today which depict a vast array of scenes from around Los Santos. Breathtaking sunsets, extreme environments and full featured weather will be present in-game.

All of the screenshots were taken from in-engine gaming footage and depict players being able to explore the world through skydiving, exploring underwater caves and scenic river valleys.

We also get a glimpse at the violence and mayhem that make the GTA series so enjoyable, such as hand wielding a gatling gun to take out your enemies. We also get glimpses of the three playable characters. Michael, a veteran crime boss; Franklin, an experienced driver; and Trevor, one of the most violent characters of the already brutal franchise.

GTA V is scheduled to launch on September 17th, and unfortunately will only be available on Xbox and PlayStation. Long time patrons of the PC versions like myself will be left out in the cold on GTA V, a move that I feel, may have doomed the franchise.
