iMac's now available with built-in VESA mount adapters, costs an extra $40

Users who have long wanted to mount their iMac onto their wall or a stand can rejoice this morning. Apple has finally added a VESA mount to its iMac line of computers.

The new VESA mount iMac's are available in the 21.5-inch and 27-inch classes and you will have to search a bit to find them as they are a separate product from the regular iMac line. The addition of the VESA mount will cost you an additional $40 for something that is considered standard on most other computers.

iMac's with the VESA mount option do not appear to come with a stand so keep that in mind when making your purchase. We are sure that third party stands will quickly begin popping up everywhere shortly.
