Lenovo's Clover Trail-based smartphone could cost just $480

Lenovo's K900 smartphone might just be a sleeper hit, not just for its great internal specs, but for its price. Internally, we should expect a 5.5-inch 1080p display baked into a nice and slim 6.9mm profile, inside we'll find an Intel Atom processor clocked at 2GHz.

Helping that Intel processor, we'll have 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal flash storage and a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera. Intel will surely use the K900 smartphone as their first 'this is what we can do' smartphone, helping them break into the smartphone market in a big fashion. Intel is hoping their Clover Trail platform will help them break into the ARM dominated market, but performance numbers will be what we'll need to see first.

Now, moving onto price, which is a big factor when consumers want to buy their products. The big claim here is that Lenovo will price their Clover Trail-powered K900 smartphone at just $480. This could see them break into the big time, competing with the already cheap Nexus 4 from Google & LG.
