NordicHardware takes Creative's new Audigy Platinum eX out for a spin. This is the first review I've seen of this card. It's very thorough and they're constantly comparing it to the "standard" Audigy 2 to display the differences between the two version.

Creative just recently launched their newest addition in the Sound Blaster family. The new soundcard is an improved version of the Audigy2 and goes buy the name Creative Audigy2 Platinum eX. With support for ASIO 2.0 24/96 recording and a newly developed I/O box the card has some real potential. And we at NordicHardware are very proud to be the first IT media in the world that can offer our readers a review of this new and powerful soundcard from Creative. In our review we have pitted the card against the basic Audigy2 model and try to find out how much the two cards separate.
