ASUS intros Transformer AiO, is a Windows 8 all-in-one PC and Android tablet

Among the various news and releases from Mobile World Congress from ASUS, we missed their Transformer AiO. ASUS' Transformer AiO is an all-in-one Windows 8 PC with a big twist - it doubles as an Android tablet.

Essentially, there are two products with the Transformer AiO, with a full PC powered by a third-generation Intel Core i5-3350P, 8GB of RAM a 1TB HDD. Detaching the 18-inch Full HD display gives you a large 18-inch tablet with Android Jelly Bean powering it, inside we have NVIDIA's Tegra 3 SoC, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

I think it's a very cool device, and it's great to see ASUS thinking outside the square yet again. I'm surprised we haven't seen Apple do this yet. We should see the Transformer AiO release in Q2, priced at $1299 in the US.
