My stick just got bigger!

| Posted: Feb 17, 2003 1:36 pm

Well, a bigger memory stick that is... Reports are popping up around the web about a new memory stick type from Sony called Memory Stick Pro. What's so good about this new stick is that it will be capable of holding gigabytes of information. Here's a snippet:

"The new card format, Memory Stick Pro, will eventually top out at 32GB, but it will start out with 256MB, 512MB and 1GB storage capacities. Memory Stick Pro will also allow devices to record content faster than devices that use the original Memory Stick cards. "

32GB!!! Soon we won't need hard drives anymore, as everything will be portable. Imagine that, your whole MP3 collection on something smaller than your thumb.
