Apple stock surges on rumor of a stock split

We'd caution everyone that this is just a rumor and that he hasn't backed it up with any sort of hard evidence that a split will actually be announced.

Apple's stock (AAPL) is up 1.38 percent to $448.90 after being down earlier this morning.
