The first Firefox OS-powered phone is the ZTE Open
MWC 2013 - We've already had Samsung and HP take the stage at Mobile World Congress with Android-powered devices, but what about Firefox OS? Well, ZTE are here to show you that they have the ZTE Open, which is the first phone see in the wild running Mozilla's mobile OS.
The device, as reported by The Verge, is a very low-end device, with the Open being quite small, and has a washed out screen. Inside, it's reported to be running a Cortex A5 processor, and a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen. We should see more from the ZTE Open over the coming hours and days, but it looks like a very early Android phone - and this isn't good - unless it's going to be priced very competitively and enter the rising markets around the world.
