You jyst gotta love a huge hard drive. And the folks over at BlueSmoke have just posted a review of one of the biggest on the market; namely the Seagate Barracuda ATA-IV 80GB Hard Drive. here's a snip:

"Seagate lashes back with a redesign of the Barracuda ATA line, the Barracuda ATA IV. A 2 40GB/platter design coupled with the new "SoftSonic" sound barrier technology and the Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) motor promises to make the Barracuda ATA IV one of the quietest 7200 RPM drives around. However, does it buck the disappoint trends of its two predecessors? BlueSmoke.net takes a detailed look."
