Sony chops the price of their PS Vita in Japan
If you're based in Japan and were holding off on buying a PS Vita, now might be the time to think about getting one. During an online video broadcast, Sony have announced a price cut for their handheld gaming device.

The price will drop for both the Wi-Fi and 3G models on February 28, to 19,980 yen (or around $215). This is a drop of around 1/5, with the current price at 24,980 yen. There'll also be a one-week free trial of PlayStation Plus, as well as various promotions for the PS Store and Reader e-book store. There's no talk of a price drop elsewhere, so for now - this is just in Japan.
