The supreme leader in CPUs, Intel, is set to show off some new Android-based smartphones at Mobile World Congress. These devices will be powered by the company's new Atom Z2420 SoCs that are "targeted at emerging markets".

Intel will also be displaying their latest smartphone technologies and devices running on Google's Android OS, including their dual-core processor and dual graphics platform, as well as some OEM- and service provider-supported devices.

Let's hope Intel show off a device that we'll all want, to really get them a running sprint into the runaway train that is the mobile devices market.
