Surface Pro to be launched at Best Buy in New York on February 8
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AAI'm sure you may have read that I'm excited about Microsoft's upcoming Surface Pro, and each day is getting closer - oh boy. We are now actually looking at it being released 24 hours before the official February 9 release, where the tablet is being launched at midnight the day before they become commercially available.
The launch will take place during a private evening reception for select guests before the event itself, and then we can expect a formal launch just before midnight on February 9. This will all happen at Best Buy in Union Square in New York City. Invited guests will be among the first to buy the Surface Pro's, or as Microsoft officially calls them, "Surface Windows 8 Pros" - really? Wow.
