Research in Motion VP of developer relations Alec Saunders says RIM has been to every continent on the planet except Antarctica seeking developers.

 

"The response from the developer community has been pretty phenomenal. To all the developers out there: thank you for your commitment, your support, and your dedication", he said.

He went on to say that he even received an app pitch from a 12 year old and that it has the largest app catalog ever for a "first generation" device.
