Icronic has reviewed the new Highpoint HPT370A RAID Controller. here's a snippet:

 

"The HPT370A isn't much different from the original HPT370. It still performs the exact same functions, with a few added benefits. First, the HPT370A is based on HPT's .35 micron process. This means the chip is less expensive to produce, and a bit smaller. The big feature of the HPT370A, however, is hot-swappability. You can now take out your hard disks and put them back in without rebooting your machine."
