Samsung has sold 100+ million Galaxy phones since release
Samsung has passed a major milestone for its Galaxy S smartphone line. The Korean tech company giant said that it has sold over 100 million Galaxy S smartphones since its launch just over two years ago.

The Galaxy S III is by far the its fastest selling model, with 40+ million sold in just seven months with the S II being next in line with over 40 million sales over a 20 month period. The S II is still quite popular, which has led the company to refresh it, and launch it as the S II plus, but we expect the S III to continue to rise in sales drastically over the next few months.
The next-generation Galaxy S IV is rumored to be nearing completion and could be the company's bestselling smartphone yet. It is expected to feature a 5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screed with a super high pixel density of 441 pixels per inch, a 13mp camera, and an Exynos 5440 quad-core processor. We should see it hitting the market sometime in March or April of this year.
